Ali Larter, also known as Alison Elizabeth “Ali” Larter, is well known for portraying roles especially intended to attract teenage audiences. As of now, she is appearing on the popular NBC drama ‘Heroes’.

Ali Larter took birth in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in the family of Margaret, a housewife and Danforth Larter, a trucking executive. She studied at Carusi Middle School and Cherry Hill High School West. When she was just fourteen, she started modeling with Ford Models and moved around the world.

It was November 1996 when she appeared as a put-on model, Allegra Coleman, in the magazine ‘Esquire’. Her first professional appearance was on one episode of Brooke Shields’ television series ‘Suddenly Susan’. She soon appeared on ‘Chicago Sons’, a short lived television series. Following it, were her appearances on Dawson’s Creek, Chicago Hope and Just Shoot Me, etc. In 1999, she made her debut in the movie world with an appearance on ‘Varsity Blues’. The movie was a big hit and it raked in $53 million. Her most notorious scene was the one in which she wore nothing except whipped cream with intentions to lure the character portrayed by Van Der Beek. It was the same year when she joined the popular NBC series ‘Heroes’ as Jessica/Niki Sanders & Tracy Strauss. For her awesome performance on the series, she was nominated for the “Best Supporting Actress” for the 33rd Saturn Awards. From the third season onwards, Ali Larter started portraying the character of Tracy Strauss. In 2007, she was seen alongside Salman Khan in the Bollywood movie ‘Marigold’. The movie was released in August 2007. She next got the role of Claire Redfield in the horror movie Resident Evil: Extinction.
