Jack Coleman is very popular actor and screenwriter as well. He’s the sixth generation descendent of Benjamin Franklin. Jack enrolled in Solebury School and Duke University. He received the degree of graduation in 1980 from Duke University and next joined the National Theatre Institute. His first biggest appearance was on the soap opera ‘Days of our Lives’. From 1981-82, he continued his role of Jake Kositchek on the above said soap opera. In 1982, Jack got the role of Steven Carrington on ‘Dynasty’ and portrayed it until 1988.
In 1992, Jack Coleman joined a short lived series ‘Nightmare Café’ as a regular member. In 2004, he made appearance on the mini series ‘Kingdom Hospital’. His next appearance was as a guest star on ‘The Net’, ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘Without a Trace’, and ‘Entourage’. In the Disney Channel Original movie ‘Cow Belles’, Jack appeared as Alyson & Amanda Michalka’s father. For his performance in the play ‘Stand up Tragedy’, he received a nomination at the Mark Taper Forum. For his performance in ‘Bouncers’, Jack won Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award.
Studio City is screenplay which he wrote, produced and acted in. He’d also produce his next screen play ‘Can’t Help Falling’. As of now, he’s appearing on the NBC sci-fi hit ‘Heroes’ as Noah Bennet.
He’s married to Beth Toussaint, an actress. The exchanged vows in 1996 and their first child, a daughter, named Tess was born in 1999.
