James Kyson Lee, an American actor, is well known for his innumerous performances on several TV shows and movies etc. After his appearance on NBC TV show ‘Heroes’, James became a household name. Lee took birth in Seoul, South Korea. When he was 10 years old, he moved to New York City with his family. James enrolled at the Bronx High School of Science. He later joined Boston University to study communications and then went to New England Institute of the Art.

It was the summer of 2001 when James Kyson Lee decided to move to Los Angeles. After landing in Los Angeles, he started learning jazz singing, musical theater, and acting. Before the beginning of his acting career, he performed improve, being a member of the L.A. based Asian-American improv troupe ‘Room To Improv’. James learned comedy at The Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, and i.O. West in Los Angeles.

James’s first TV audition was for a role on JAG, a popular CBS television drama and he secured the role of a guest character. Lee made appearance on ‘Miss Universe’ competition when it was held in the Mexico City. His most notable appearance is on ‘Heroes’, portraying the character of Ando Masahashi. In the first season of the series, he appeared as a recurring character and was upgraded to the regular star cast list in the second season of series. In an episode of CSI, entitled ‘Say Uncle’, James portrayed the character of a Korean translator. He was also seen in an episode of ‘Untold Stories of the ER’, entitled Code Black.
