Maury Parkman sends his followers Knox and Daphne to bring Hiro and the others on their team. Adam is presented to the ring-leader, who as the title suggests, is the strongest of them all. He uses his abilities to heal people. On returning from Africa, Matt meets Daphne and is encouraged to join their team. He asks for a commitment instead. In search of answers, Hiro and Ando teleport to Africa, to meet Usutu, who can paint the future.

Bennet is compelled to reunite with Sylar to hunt for the villains who escaped the building. Peter needs answers and therefore goes to Pinehearst. There he finds out that Arthur Petrelli, his father, who was thought to be dead, actually turned out to be the leader of the pact. Also, he had abilities to physically absorb powers by simply touching another human.
